UNLV students use Rebelmail, powered by Google Workspace for Education. Rebelmail accounts are very similar to\u00a0UNLVMail accounts that employees use, but they exist within a separate domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNLVMail accounts use a domain (@unlv.edu<\/a>) that is distinct from the student Rebelmail domain (@unlv.nevada.edu<\/a>), and they also have separate directories. \u00a0Student employees will have accounts in\u00a0both\u00a0<\/strong>domains, and typically should use UNLVMail for their work correspondence and Rebelmail for their student correspondence.\u00a0 They may, however, forward their UNLVMail correspondence to their Rebelmail accounts if they desire. Conversely, some faculty and staff members may have Rebelmail accounts that were created prior to the existence of UNLVMail, and they may continue to use them.\u00a0 New faculty and staff members, however, are only issued UNLVMail accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
