Passwords must meet the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/it.unlv.edu\/cybersecurity\/best-practices\/passwords\">standards<\/a>\u00a0established by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/it.unlv.edu\/policies\/password-policy\">UNLV password policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click\u00a0the\u00a0<strong>Forgot password?<\/strong>\u00a0 link when logging in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter\u00a0your\u00a0<em>ACE username<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>university email<\/em>, then\u00a0<strong>click<\/strong>\u00a0your preferred reset method.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you click <em>Reset via Email<\/em>, you will receive an email to your personal email on file with a link to set a new password.\u00a0Click\u00a0the <strong>Reset Password<\/strong> <strong>button<\/strong> in the email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you click <em>Reset via Get a push notification<\/em>, you will receive a push notification, open the Okta Verify prompt, then tap the number provided on your screen to continue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you click <em>Reset via phone<\/em>, Click the <strong>Receive a code via SMS or Receive a voice call<\/strong> instead, check your mobile device for the verification code.\u00a0Add the code\u00a0in the\u00a0<strong>Enter Code<\/strong>\u00a0field and\u00a0click\u00a0Verify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type in your new password in the <strong>New password<\/strong> and Repeat password fields. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Reset Password<\/strong>\u00a0to receive confirmation that your password was successfully changed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anyone who needs to change their ACE password should follow the instructions below.
