Integrated with WebCampus, this service allows users to record lectures, presentations, demonstrations, and more. As long as you have that role in at least one active course, you can create Panopto content.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can Panopto record my lectures in a classroom?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, you can record your live lectures in any classroom equipped with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.it.unlv.edu\/learning-technologies\/classrooms\/all?combine=&amp;field_campus_value=All&amp;field_classroom_type_value=lecture_capture&amp;field_seating_capacity_value=All\">lecture capture<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.it.unlv.edu\/learning-technologies\/classrooms\/all?combine=&amp;field_campus_value=All&amp;field_classroom_type_value=rebelflex&amp;field_seating_capacity_value=All\">RebelFlex<\/a>&nbsp;equipment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To schedule your classes to be recorded on certain days or all semester, file a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.unlv.edu\/TDClient\/33\/IT-Support-Portal\/Requests\/ServiceDet?ID=125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scheduling request form.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>I recorded a lecture in a classroom. Where is it?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have filed a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.unlv.edu\/TDClient\/33\/IT-Support-Portal\/Requests\/ServiceDet?ID=125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scheduling request form,<\/a>&nbsp;your lectures will be automatically uploaded to the course folder you provided in your form.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you did not complete a scheduling request form, your video will need to be transferred out of the classroom. To transfer a video, submit a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/help.unlv.edu\/TDClient\/33\/IT-Support-Portal\/Requests\/ServiceDet?ID=124\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video transfer form.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>Can I only do Panopto recordings in a classroom?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No. You can also record Panopto videos right from your office or home. For longer videos, download the Panopto software from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unlv.hosted.panopto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UNLV hosted Paopto site.<\/a>\u00a0For shorter videos, use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1d_ja_qqSWtaJFcaYs_aMsKdbId74dg6u\/view?usp=drive_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Panopto Capture,<\/a>\u00a0the web-based Panopto solution.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>How long are my videos stored in Panopto?<\/summary>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Panopto has a content retention policy. Any videos not viewed or edited in 2 years will be archived. If they are not un-archived in 2 years, then they will be permanently deleted (total of 4 years inactivity).
