RebelApps lets students access software or lab computers from anywhere \u2014 on or off campus \u2014 by connecting to a physical desktop in a computer lab or to a virtual machine with the required application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To log in to a campus lab desktop remotely, students need a PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux, or Chromebook device, a reliable internet connection, and their ACE login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each virtual machine provides access to one specific software title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Configure Device<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To use the remote applications or remote computer labs, you will need to download the VMWare Horizon Client on your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once installed, follow the device specific instructions below<\/p>\n\n\n\n Windows and Mac OS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Note for Windows users: Windows 8 and above is highly recommended; however, Windows 7 SP1 will work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Linux Device<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n IOS, Android, or ChromeOS device<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
