Everyone is responsible for safeguarding the data they access or manage. If you suspect a breach involving sensitive information, your ACE account, or a UNLV device, report it right away. Doing so helps protect potential victims and ensures the university remains compliant with applicable laws and policies. Once OIT is notified, the incident will be investigated and addressed appropriately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you believe a cybersecurity incident has occurred \u2014 such as ransomware attack, phishing attack, data compromise, or stolen\/breached UNLV device\u2014 you must report it immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can do this by completing a ticket to report through the Cybersecurity Incident Report Form<\/a> or by contacting the Information Security Office directly at (702) 895-0400<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the incident involves research data, your report will also be routed to the Office of Research Integrity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
